Barnadown Run is situated on the red Cambrian clay loam (terra rossa) of the Mount Camel range in Toolleen, 20 kilometers north of Heathcote. The Heathcote region in central Victoria clearly produces robust wines with the power and finesse for which the district has become known over the past three decades.

Description

Named after the original pastoral lease which encompassed the property, Barnadown Run has a small annual production and our premium wines have won numerous awards. Traditional wine making techniques apply in making our hand crafted wines and all fruit is hand picked from our dry grown vineyards.

Barnadown Run is situated on the red Cambrian clay loam (terra rossa) of the Mount Camel range at Toolleen, 20 kilometres north of the Heathcote township and at 950 feet above sea level we offer wonderful panoramic views as far as the eye can see.

Barnadown Run produces robust wines with the power and finesse and we offer ten wines from Whites, Rose and Reds; we have two Sparkling's, two Tawny's and a Muscat.

Walk into our working winery, the backdrop of which is always changing with the seasons. At our tastings we are always happy to convey to our customers the processes and procedures of winery operations.

Directions

Directions from Bendigo: From the Alexandra Fountain travel North along the Midland Hwy, at the second set of traffic lights turn right into Chapple street. Follow the signs to the McIvor Highway proceed past Axedale, cross the Campaspe River and up the hill to the Toolleen-Axedale Road where you turn left. Proceed to Toolleen which is about 20km east. At Toolleen we are 3.9 Kilometres east of the Northern Highway and Barnadown run is the Green winery on the right.
