Killiecrankie Wines is the venture of John Monteath and Claire Hull.
A Viticulturist with over 15 years experience, John has and is currently working with some of the pre-eminent vineyards in the Bendigo and Heathcote wine regions.
Description
Grapes are sourced from a limited number of meticulously tended vineyards in the Bendigo and Heathcote wine regions. The wines are made in the true garagiste style with hand plunged ferments, basket pressing and minimal intervention. The resultant wines are elegantly proportioned with fine texture and balance.
Just a short meandering drive down a peaceful tree lined road you will find the Killiecrankie Wines cellar door. Set in an 1880's red brick workers cottage just off the Calder Highway in Ravenswood.
Enjoy the beauty of the surrounds while enjoying the high quality boutique wines and the photographic based artwork which John and Claire have produced.
Only 20 minutes drive from Bendigo and Castlemaine and 10 minutes from Maldon. Open 11 - 6 weekends and most public holidays.

Directions
From Melbourne travelling along the Calder Highway take the Marong/Mildura turn off in Ravenswood (approx 20kms before Bendigo). From Bendigo travelling along the Calder Hwy towards Melbourne take the Marong/Mildrua turn off in Ravenswood). At the roundabout turn onto Bickfords Rd, then turn right into Soldier Settlement Road. Travel 1km and Killiecrankie is located on the left at number 103.
