Owners Ian and Mark Summerfield use traditional winemaking methods to produce deep, hearty, bold premium red wines. Ian and Mark’s passion for excellence has resulted in a legacy of Varietal and Reserve wines - Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. A 5 RED STAR WINERY as rated by James Halliday, and placed in the top 100 of Australian Wineries, Summerfield will give you a red wine experience you won’t want to miss.
Mark’s dream of bringing guests a quality menu of locally grown produce has been realised. Overlooking the beautiful winery gardens, the extensively renovated and extended café and cellar door now includes an indoor/outdoor dining space for up to 50 guests. Summerfield specializes in wood-fired pizzas. The winery has also opened a Bakery & Gourmet Deli on the premise, with stone-baked artisan polish breads, smoked meats, cheese, olive oil, seasonal lamb and pork, condiments and Homemade Bakery Sweets available.
Summerfield boasts 6 fully self-contained apartments located on the winery grounds along with Summerfield House, a charming Cottage situated in the heart of the Moonambel Township.
Cellar Door is open daily 9-5pm. Dining - Lunch Wednesday-Sunday 12.00-3pm and Friday & Saturday evenings 5.30-8pm
