The BSO's Palm Sunday concert for 2016 features work by Mozart, Wagner, Rossini (arr. by Britten) and Haydn's Symphony 103 - the "Drumroll" symphony

Join the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by their music director, Rohan Phillips, for an afternoon of Mozart, Wagner, Rossini (arranged by Britten) and Haydn. Wagner's Siegfried Idyll was written for as a birthday present for Cosima (not yet his wife) and was first performed on Christmas morning 1870 in their house overlooking Lake Lucerne. Haydn's 103st Symphony was one of twelve written for the composer's illustrious visit to London in the 1790s.
