Come and be part of a regional food wonderland in the shade of the Bendigo Botanic Gardens, where Central Victoria’s local food network Food Fossickers present “Food Fossickers Paddock to Park Carnivore’l”.

After two sell-out picnic events, Food Fossickers return to the beautiful Bendigo Botanic Gardens to again showcase the very best of the region.

This year the focus is on the paddocks of central Victoria and the world class and award winning meats that are farmed there.  Think sizzle, think smoke, think whole beasts and slow cooking. 

The restaurants are back, along with our local wine makers, craft beer breweries and our producers. Choose from local chutneys, breads, cheeses, jams and condiments to accompany your lunch; build the ultimate carnivore's feast from the central hub or simply graze your way around the stall holders.  Vegetarians are also catered for, along with those with a sweet tooth. 

Festival goers are encouraged to bring a picnic rug or folding chairs, and settle in for a day in the park. Build your own picnic or just eat your way around the local offering, from olives and cheeses to fine fare from the region's leading restaurants.

$12 General admission– (purchased online, prior to event)
$36 Feast Pass - includes general admission and 3 hot dishes
$15 each at the gate, IF NOT SOLD OUT. Children under 3 years are free

Dishes will be $8 per serve on the day.

Sunshine, music, entertainment and great company are all free of charge.
