Forever Marilyn, the 8 metre high sculpture by Seward Johnson, is about to make her Australian debut in Bendigo. Celebrate her arrival on Saturday 6 February at a free community celebration from 10-11am in Rosalind Park.

Catch your first glimpse of Forever Marilyn and help celebrate with 1950s fashion, dance and music. Watch the Bendigo Fashion Festival fashion parade, along with period vehicles and a performance by the Rockin’ 50s. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Forever Marilyn arrives in Bendigo ahead of the exhibition, Bendigo Art Gallery and Twentieth Century Fox present Marilyn Monroe, 5 March – 10 July 2016. Snap a selfie at the Forever Marilyn community celebration and use #marilynbendigo for your chance to win tickets to the exhibition.

Snap your best selfie with Forever Marilyn and go into the draw to win a double pass to Bendigo Art Gallery and Twentieth Century Fox present Marilyn Monroe. Head to the event, grab a selfie, and upload it to Instagram using #marilynbendigo and #explorebendigo.  Winners will be randomly chosen and announced via @ExploreBendigo Instagram account on 9 February. Tickets may be used during the exhibition, 5 March – 10 July 2016.
