Organisers have been busy preparing for the 55th Elmore Field Days. Held on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th of October. The 2018 Elmore Field Days fall into the Victorian school holidays.

This allows more families to enjoy the array of fun on offer. A drawcard is the fact that children under the age of 12 will receive free entry and plenty of free entertainment. 

Quirky Tales with Narelle Stone will be back by popular demand in the auditorium, she is known as Victoria’s favourite librarian and is known to get the kids up on stage and involved in her stories and will be performing daily from 12:30 to 1pm. 

There will be plenty more attractions for the kids including jumping castles, face painting, camel rides, reptile awareness display, giveaways, and a colouring competition. 

There’s plenty to see and do for the big kids too, with over 700 exhibitors showcasing the latest machinery and technology with everything from tools and hardware through to pools, machinery plants, steel yards, cattle crushes and everything in between, the Elmore Field Days are a must on the agricultural calendar.

Catch the Lockington & District Heritage Centre proudly displaying their restored and unrestored vintage tractors and machinery.

There are also heritage horse demonstrations, shearing and wool-handling demonstrations, live music and the return of the popular Ag Art Wear Competition. There will be many new exhibitors of food, craft and fashion items in the General Interest Pavilion. A unique element of the Elmore Field Days is the on-site airstrip, allowing patrons to land on site and walk to the gate.

There will also be plenty of yummy food options to please every appetite.
